It's official: the band with the catchiest single of 2009 are confirmed to play Wireless 2009 sponsored by Barclaycard. Yes, The Noisettes are coming to Hyde Park this year, and we can't wait to have them!

The London trio, made up of singer and bassist Shingai Shoniwa, guitarist Dan Smith, and drummer Jamie Morrison, released the smash hit Don't Upset The Rhythm earlier this year, and have been an inescapable force on the music scene ever since. Their second album Wild Young Hearts was released in April this year to massive critical acclaim, and the band have most recently been seen touring Europe and performing at the colossal SXSW festival in America.

Their appearance at Wireless 2009 is going to be something very special, with the band playing tracks from both their albums, and promising a set that is as energetic as their reputation is based on. Lately they've been working in future tracks to their set list, so for a glimpse of what the band have got in store for the airwaves later in 2009, don't miss them when they take to the stage on Sunday July 5th.
