Grime music superstar Tinchy Stryderis hails from the Bow in East London, and has been referred to by Rewind Magazine as the "Prince of Grime". Having first gained fame performing on pirate radio stations in his early teens, he became prominent in the underground scene after constantly going on radio and performing live shows with Wiley and Dizzee Rascal.

Tinchy Stryder supported N-Dubz, who are also playing this year’s Wireless, on their 'Uncle B' UK tour in early 2009. Expect to hear some of his best tracks at Wireless 2009 from his debut album Star in the Hood, and his as yet unnamed follow up album that includes hits Where’s Your Love and Take Me Back.
