A Weekend to remember
Well, what a triumphant couple of days! All that remains now is for us to say a huge thank you to everybody who managed to make it down to Hyde Park this weekend to witness what turned out to be an unforgettable feast of live music.
Over the course of the Wireless 2009 festival, we saw performances from a veritable who’s who of dance and urban music, culminating in heart-stopping headline sets from Basement Jaxx and Kanye West.
Some of the highlights included Dizzee Rascal, The Streets, N-Dubz, Jack Peñate, Alesha Dixon, Diversity and International Superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold. But don’t take our word for it, read the full reviews in our News section.
In addition to the music, plenty of festival fun was had by all with speed-dating, a big prize treasure hunt, Victorian funfair and a catwalk show from those lovely people at Ugg. As temperatures soared, there was even a beach set up for anyone with a penchant for sun-worshipping.
